Explore the Wonders of Jiuzhaigou
& Huanglong
This trip will take you to visit Three UNESCO recognized
World Heritage Sites:
Day
1: Bangkok - Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou (L/D)
Assemble at Bangkok International Airport, check-in for your
flight CA402 to Chengdu.
Upon
arriving Chengdu, transfer to Jiuzhaigou. Jiuzhaigou is a world
nature heritage, a national scenic area as well as national
nature reserve. It has been known throughout the world as a
“Paradise in the Human World” and “Fairyland on Earth” for its
crystal lakes and waterfalls, virgin forests, rare animals, and
birds, and national customs.
Overnight in JiuZhaigou
Day
2: Jiuzhaigou (B/L/D)
Tour
of Jiuzhaigou scenic area including visits to the innumerable
waterfalls, lakes and other scenic spots. You will be amazed by
the magnificent Shuzheng waterfall. Another major scenic spot is
the Nuo Riland Waterfall, 140 metres wide and over 20 metres
high, one of the biggest waterfalls in Jiuzhai. The Pearl Beach
Waterfall is nearly 200 metres wide. Its beauty and charm come
first on the list of all the waterfalls in Jiuzhai. Under the
sun, the Pearl Beach becomes a bed of sparkling, restless
droplets. The water here is rather cold, one can feel the chill
even through boots. Visit the treasured-mirror cliff zone, the Shuzhen,
Primary forests and Long Lake zones etc.. At night, enjoy Zangqiang Tribe Dance
Performance.
Overnight in Jiuzhaigou
Day 3: Huanglong - Maoxian (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to the Huanglong Scenic Area, known for
its rich variety of tourist attractions that are marked for
their spectacular shapes, colossal sizes and exquisite
structures. (If weather does not allow, this will be replaced by
Mounigou). You will see the most beautiful Colored
Terrace-Ponds, where 2300 ponds come into 8 groups, such as the
Guest Greeting Ponds, The Flowing Pools of the Waterfall, the
Potted Landscape Ponds, the Fragrant Ponds, the Jade-bathing
Ponds, etc. Due to varied depth of the ponds and all kinds of
mineral pigments and deposits on the bottom, the water reflects
a variety of charming colours. Then transfer to Maoxian.
Overnight in Maoxian
Day 4: Maoxian – Wolong - Mount Siguniang (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to visit Wolong Panda Research and
Protection Center which is located at approximately 120km
northwest of Chengdu. It has the famous Panda Research Centre
which was set up in 1963. Then arrive at Mount Siguniang which
honors the queen of Sichuan's mountains. It is said by the local
people that these four peaks were originally four beautiful
sisters of the mountain god.
Overnight in Rilong County
Day 5: Mount Siguniang – Dujiangyan (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit The Shuangquio Valley has a distance of
35 kilometres. The virgin forest here includes Five Colour
Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Abi Mountain, the heart of Ox
Mountain, and so on. This is a very colourful journey. Then
proceed to Dujiangyan.
Overnight in Dujiangyan
Day 6: Dujiangyan- Chengdu – Bangkok (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Dujiangyan to visit the dam, see the
oldest irrigation system built more than 2000 years ago, yet
still in service, creating millions of acres of farmland. The
whole system irrigates well over 6.67 million hectares,
including the Chengdu region. Then proceed to Chengdu, visit
Green Ram Palace - the best-preserved memorial temple for Laozi.
After famous Sichuang Huoguo (hot pot) dinner, enjoy Sichuan
opera show. Then, transfer to airport and depart Chendu by CA401
